If you are a Revlon Colorstay Foundation fan and you have oily skin, this is most likely for you!
Texture: a bit more creamy than revlon’s
Scent: light floral
Price: $7 for 1fl Oz
Coverage: full
Here’s how I apply it..

I found that using a regular foundation brush took too long to blend in and using a stippling brush also was the same. But with this texture, a packed brush would probably be best and much faster. I really don’t have to use much of this foundation at all to get a good coverage and of course, it stays on most of the day.
It is a bit drying but but after the oils kick in, it has pretty good control and still stays on. Honestly, what is the point of wearing foundation if it just going to slide right off your face? Being a mommy of a one year old, I need something that can stick through the running around, cleaning, cooking, etc.. With this, I really don’t have to touch up much, I apply this on probably at 8am and by 4pm I blot and if I feel like it, touch up with my Maybelline Dream Matte pressed powder (which is love).
This is definitely worth a shot, way better than their stay matte foundation and the other 16hr foundation. I’m going to try to buy a darker shade because this one is a bit light on my skin.
If you girls try this, let me know how it worked for you! The floral scent might bug you but it fades within seconds of applying it.
In the meantime, Keenan is officially in his own room and sleeping through the night. I will explain in the next blog about how this miracle happened!
Recently I’ve been talking about how we moved here to Virginia and so far I am still loving the area. It’s not a saturated area like i’m used to in Minnesota. We took a small trip to Williamsburg which is about 20 minutes away from us and visited the Prime Outlet Mall. The mall has a lot of stores and also a CCO..oh yeah! They’re MAC selection there is pretty wide, but I didn’t grab anything today. There aren’t too many vietnamese restaurants around where we live so we decided to try out Chez Trinh.
The food there is good, the flavors were good but my husbands plate didn’t have so much meat on it
For $13 you would expect a bit more meat but he says he got like half a chicken breast. He ordered the usuall rice platter with grilled chicken and I ordered the BTN with grilled pork. We realized later on that the lady running the place was korean so we agreed to possibly try the korean food there next time. Overall the place is alright, not the worst, or the best.
I highlighted my hair and it looks so much lighter but I love it. Walley helped me poke holes through the highlighting cap too
If you’re wondering what I used, I used the Revlon Frost n Glow for Medium to Dark hair. I got it at Walmart for like $6 which is a great deal IMO!

Here’s Walley pouring Keenan’s water into our cups because he kept spilling it all over himself.

The main show…he’s finally walking now and insists on pushing his stroller around whenever we go to the mall.
I love his lips..he’s definitely got daddy’s lips for sure.

Beyond Belief’s Natural Focus Brightening Eye Serum
You can buy this HERE.
Do you ever have those bad days where you looks at yourself and think, “I look like SH*T today?” Well this is almost like magic in a tube for your eyes. It takes a lot for me to get excited about putting a product on my face.
The main ingredients in this are Goji Berry, Chamomile and Haloxyl.
Haloxyl also known as Hyloxyl is an anti-aging ingredient often formulated in the most successful anti-aging skin care products on the market today. It has been identified as the primary ingredient in products that make claims to reduce dark-circles under the eye region.
The reason I say this is like magic in a tube for your eyes is because the serum has some light reflectors in it that cause the “brightening” to happen..therefore making your eyes look less tired. It also does make my eyes less puffy whenever I do wear this. If you are looking for an inexpensive eye cream right now, try this =)
***I’m not getting paid to write this review, this is from my own experience.***

If you’ve got extreme dark circles or hyperpigmentation underneath your eyes, you might need more than just a concealer.
There are a number of correctors that you can purchase out there but I read that Bobbi Brown had a stronger corrector. If you’ve ever worn concealer and found that your circles weren’t really going anywhere, a corrector would be worth trying. I have hyperpigmentation underneath my eyes because they’ve been like this since I can remember in high school. I usually don’t get bags unless I am up crying all night. I once tried a concealer that had some salmon in it and it definitely “concealed” a lot better than just yellow toned ones.
If I look at my hyperpigmentation, it loosk more brown than purple, so the salmon in the corrector balances it out for the yellow in my concealer.
As you can see, the discoloration gets lighter and lighter. I wear my concealer over my foundation because I find that if I put it under my foundation, the foundation wipes it away. I wear my concealer a bit lighter than my skincolor for brightness but not overwhemling brightness.
Personally, I would probably wear the corrector by itself since I find it helps a lot more than just the MUFE full cover concealer.
Does it crease? No, not if you set it with powder.
Is it worth it? Yes, for people who have the same problem as me, it will definitely help brighten up underneath the eyes.
I hope this helps! Later lovelies!
